Zhamnov has been great...but Markov's physical game was essential with our new Euro-blueline. Gotta hand it to Clarke, he finally added a little Russian flair but he got the most North American Style Russians out there.

Never thought I'd see a Russian winning a poll of recent Flyer acquisitions....but then again, I'm thinking of the "old days" with the Flyers and the Russians.

BTW, Alexei got my vote.

What about Malakhov? He's been instrumental in our playoff success.

Markov has been great, but really all the guys have played key roles at one time or another.
Malakov has really surprised and Zhamnov has been an offensive godsend.
Timmander was a steal and allowed us to deal Bundy - by the way, didn't we get 2 picks for him?
Radio has been OK and in my opinion deserves a bit more ice time and is way ahead of Feds and Somik.

Just went and looked it up:
04 - 8th round
05 - 3rd round

Well you could look at it from the perspective that since Burke is Esche's best friend and he has completely accepted the role of backup to his buddy, he's been the biggest reason for Esche's success

Zhamnov. However Markov isn't that far behind.

I like them all for many reasons:

Markov-I hated him when he came here because I had to say goodbye to the one guy that I loved so much(Williams),but now I LOVE Danny. He's been great, his personality is hilarious and his attitude is great. Rating 10/10

Zhamnov-Now I hated getting rid of Jim Vandermeer, but *******,has this guy been GREAT! Also,it feels great to have the whole Russian thing around here
rating,10/10

Radivojevic-Could I say anymore about him,not only is he great eye candy, but he's a great player, well,ok,not fantastic, but he's there when you need him. Great all around fighter and guy. Also, the team needed another villiage idiot.Rating 8/10

Timander-Like Radivojevic, this guy is great eye candy, but more
importantly,a very smart defenseman. Rating,9/10
