Vancouver should take this 4-0 or 4-1 or so. I cannot see the Oilers beating Luongo (if he's playing) for more than 1 goal. Henrik and Daniel will make the Oilers look silly, but they always did before.

It's very relaxing these days like others have said. I'll pop in and check scores. I'll flip to the game and flip out of it. I don't look at the schedule either before I make plans.

Yeah it sucks, but that's how it is right now. Hopefully I can go back to being a fanatic again in the near future.

If there's one team I'd like to see the Oilers beat, it's the Canucks.

4-3 Oilers

Wishful thinking, I know

Go Canucks Go!!!

I don't care if its Vancouver or not.. I still want the Oilers to lose (but just not by a blowout).

Even as much I would like to beat the Canucks, I can't see it happening tonight. That's a good Canucks hockey team that's really on a roll right now.

5-2 Canucks.

Go Oilers.

Misery loves company. I want us to beat the Nucks. Seeing them out of the playoffs would be a joyful experience. Calgary too. This year I think all I have left is hating other teams. lol

And my favourite Beck song. I'm feeling it. C'mon boys, get er done.

One last look at any of the RFA's wouldn't hurt at this point.

Don't forget, the Canucks like to play to their opponent's potential. This is not a done deal until it's a done deal. But just as you guys put it, you win either way. It really isn't fun to have you guys suck so much, I do like to see some fight between division rivals.

You guys can't beat us in tanking. You've lost like 15 of the last 16 and are still only 10 points behind us with plenty of games in hand. Eventually you will get on a winning streak and ruin your chances of the first overall pick .

We however still have to play nearly all central division and west coast opponents who we never beat. We never win in Detroit, Nashville or St. Louis and we rarely win at home against all 4 of our central opponents. After the Olympic break, those are the teams we are mostly playing. That and the Northwest and Pacific, who we also cant beat on the road.

Moreau is playing tonight.

Missed the "tempo skate" yesterday.

Frustrating. So very frustrating.

Your lead will be safe even if your team doesnt play another game. Do you really think this team can win five more games this year?

here is an Oilers drinking game I will be playing tonight...

Drink everytime they turn over the puck
Drink everytime they make a bad pass
Drink everytime the Oilers do a no-look behind the back pass that doesn't work
Drink twice everytime they are scored on
Drink 5 everytime Captain Ethan Moreau takes a penalty
Drink every time Patrick O' Sullivan misses a shot or "gimme" goal
Drink everytime a player basically skates around Sheldon Souray like he is a pylon
Drink everytime our goalie is out of the net and looks confused as to what to do with the puck in our zone
Drink everytime we don't clear the puck on a penalty kill when we have a clear chance to do so
Drink everytime they show a shot of Pat Quinn on the bench and he mouths the F word

Follow these steps and you will be sure to forget that the game ever happened!

If you follow that game-plan you might end up in the Emergency Room! That's hilarious though. Nice one, Max!

So if its in the neutral zone we don't have to drink?

Anyhow the first one is sure enough to get you drunk let alone adding everything else in. You will be blackout drnk by the end of the first.

Liquor I meant to say this earlier, this is one heck of a GDT, very nice work!

I would love to make a hangover themed thread, but that would require a fair bit of skills and work. I just remember the superbad thread... http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=450600 I think that superbad would work well this season too.

Thanks BB. Sometimes laughter is the best medicine, or so they say. I would love to see you come up with a themed GDT. Or anyone else for that matter.
