Do wee remplace Laraque by another tough guy? Do we bring Neilson? Do we give a try to O'Byrne as a winger? A lot of questions !

I'd give a shot to Neilson (if Neilson's right are owned by the Habs) or maybe Stewart... We need a guy like Ott, Rypien, Brown, Thornton who can play, hits, and fight in the same time.

We already have one and he is awesome!!!

Eric Neilson

He was Crosby's bodyguard in Rimouski, I don't need to say much more.

He also had 3 fights in one NHL pre-game.

We need an enforcer just as much as needed one when we had Georges. One who does the job he is being paid for. Carcillo would be nice.

Forget Stewart.. that guy doesn't want to fight anymore. He has only 4 fights with Hamilton this season.

we need an enforcer who enforces

we need to ALSO add players who can and will engage when challanged.

we need a "wolf pack".We need a group of 3 or 4 who can huntdown the predetors/badguys.

right now we got tissue compared to sandpaper.

every year we sign small players and have 1 GUY try to defend them all.And the one guy defending isnt really able to defend as he isnt a real heavy,it just dont work .

Then we get the toughest guy in the leauge , and he goes soft.

No fault of the players ,we need to add the element of protection/and in your faceness if you mess with us .right now we dont got that and teams take advantage of it .

Eric Neilson is in no way whatsoever affiliated to the Habs aside from the fact that the Bulldogs gave him a minor league deal only. He is not under an NHL contract and technically is an NHL UFA. Considering he's been a healthy scratch in 11 of the last 21 games in the AHL, there's no way that he even warrants a contract let alone a callup.

Kevin Westgarth. Plays for LA's farm team. The guy can fight, play a wee bit, and has a cheap price tag. Please Bob if you read these threads make it happen.

**** Lappy was available last season... Carcillo is the face of Philly's play, a gritty little ***** who can fight and score ! So no way the Flyers would trade him. Maybe guys like Ott, Orr, McLeod. The one I like is B.J Crombeen, he can score and fight. He's not an heavyweight (6'2, 212 lbs) but he can hit for sure.

Neilson please. He will be happy with what ever ice we gave him. Showed that he is not afraid of anyone and unlike laraque they will fight him. He wont be a cancer to the dressing room demanding ice time

I'm for team toughness, not a goon who can't score and is a liability. Give me a couple Mike McPhee types to support Moen and I'd be happy.

Only to Habs fans can an enforcer have one awesome preseason game and be remembered forever.

I don't trust this staff to get the right guy anyways, so no.

The staff plainly pointed out that they don't need an enforcer, a guy that spends 3-5 minutes on the ice per game, to win. So the answer is no.

Check out his fights, not bad. We know he's not a scorer or a playmaker

We dont need a goon, we need a enforcer capable of play 8 minutes per game. A guy hit a lot, a real protector. A guy like colton orr.

We need an enforcer that can play hockey. All opposing teams need to know that there will always be an enforcer playing every game. No team gets a break to take runs at the stars.

There's a ton of enforcer-type players going UFA next summer... I'm sure Gainey can get one cheaply at the deadline, if necessary.
