Nope. He stayed in the KHL because he wanted ice time to get to the Olympics. We all know how it ended up.

Will his team the playoffs? Chances are he won't be in Washington until end of March? Would they even want him at that point?

If I understand the KHL playoff seeding, it looks like his team is right on the bubble currently. So probably a 50/50 chance they make the playoffs.

Doesn't the KHL have a losers playoff bracket or something like that? I believe his last regular season KHL game is March 4th

Says he's coming next year, no matter what KHL offers he gets.

Based on his play this season, he wouldn't be getting much.

Can't wait. Would love for it to be in March as opposed to Sept, but either way just want to see it happen.

Great news! Time for him to come over and develop even more. Kid is gonna be huge addition to the Capitals and I wonder at what round should I take him in my hockey pool next year haha

Whichever round the 40 point forwards are going in. If he scores more, bonus...

Very exciting. Not a Caps fan, but from the little I've seen it makes me really want to see more.

If you expect Kuznetsov to play center - don't. And he won't be taking up too much of a cap space since it's still an ELC.

He didn't apply for a visa in time to get it done before training camp, leading to him missing quite a bit of it.
