He has more goals in less games than Tarasenko.

Yeah, they are a part of a huge russian mafia clan Kuznetsov. Russian actor Yuri Kuznetsov is a Godfather there. His right hand? Ex-redwing, 6'6 brute Maxim Kuznetsov.

Honestly I haven't seen too much of this kid but in the [very] limited amount of clips i've seen of Kuznetsov he reminds me a bit of Cherepanov [R.I.P] of course I could be way off with this comparison but this is the first comparison that came to mind for me....Cherepanov and the way he shoots reminds me a bit of Kovalchuk as well.

Looks like he has an exciting future ahead of him!

What a monster sick take over the game clutch player. That WJC performance was amazing!

He needs surgery on his shoulders and he still turned into a wrecking ball in the third period of these crazy comeback games.

Three primary assists on the first three goals as Russia ties it in the third against Canada and I don't even want to talk about that sick game against Finland.

He is the only player on the Russian team eligible to play next year!

What a prospect. Sick.

Washington must really be excited for this kid... And that defense man Orlov is not to shabby either.

It's true, it was reported by a few different sources last night, but I don't see any of them this morning.

Here's the link in a working fashion. And we know. He's very..... European.
For what team did you cheer as child?
Team Canada

Your idols?
Wayne Gretzky and [football player] Andrei Arshavin

What's the dream of your career?
To become a hockey player and go to Canada

Cool, doesn't exactly sound like one of those players you're scared won't come over. Kid has a lot of talent, I was very impressed by him, Tarasenko and Orlov in this tourney.

Didn't he say it in a postgame interview (Sweden or Finland)?

Since returning from the World Juniors, even with his two bum shoulders, Kuznetsov's been on fire, scoring 9 points in 7 games (3 goals, 6 assists.)

His season stat-line, on a low-scoring Chelyabinsk team, (averaging only about 13 minutes a game of TOI):

38 GP 12 G 12 A +7

Despite missing 10 games he's the teams 2nd leading scorer (1st among forwards), 2nd in goals (1st among forwards) and 3rd in assists (2nd among forwards). His +7 is tied for 3rd best

Another question on there:

What do you do on the plane?
I am scared by flights, I sleep

Atleast we know it wasn't him who got Team Russia kicked off the plane

Nice joke
As for Kuznetsovs
Most popular russian surnames:
1.Kuznetsov
2.Ivanov
3.Smirnov
Kuznets in russian means smith. So Kuznetsov is a son of smith.

According to the following link, you actually have that order backwards.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._Europe#Russia

Then again I read somewhere else that Ivanov was in first place, so I'm not sure.

May be. I just mean that these three are most popular. In no order
