its good news to anyone on cable too. The more regulation there is against cable companies monopolizing ANYTHING the better rates there will be across the board because of increased competition.

It won't be years, plural. It will be one year, max, in all likelyhood. FiOS will be on this next week, likely. They have Cablevision by the balls and they know it. No way they don't go in for the kill right away.

Who cares? FiOS is that good. Who would ever get rid of it if they have MSG HD? The only reason I was considering going back to DirecTV was to get MSG HD. Now? No chance unless it never happens.

I must have read the post wrong lol. Any way I agree, Fios is far superior to any thing else Ive ever had.
My buddy has Cablevision IO and his TV looks like trash compared to my FiOS. And the internet isn't even remotely close. It's a bit strange that the difference is so vast.
Can anyone confirm this? I'm moving to a building with fios. If I can get msghd, I'd love to get Fios. However, they want to run my credit and asked for a $400 deposit. What is up with that? Its freakin cable. Doesn't that seem a bit extreme?
Fios is getting MSG/MSG2/MSG+/MSG+2 HD sometime in February, planned before this ruling I believe.

They had Olympic hockey in HD on MSNBC so that was useful. NOW GET RID OF MSNBC HD as its useless for another four years and replace it with MSGHD!!!!!

That's weird, aren't Sabres games on msg up in buffalo? I would think since the Rangers pretty much own MSG network they would be forced down your throats up there and then the isles and devils would get blacked out. Kinda how they have to share msg + or that crappy msg 2 that usually has terrible quality
