The Blues at the Habs

Well, it is 335 and no one has started a thread yet. So I figured I would get one going.

Sounds like no Berglund tonight - which isn't good. Sorry guys, I would care less about Janssen. Also, no Weaver..... if anyone should be sitting it should be Cola. His last game was at best terrible.

Oh well. Time to see if we can get a bit of a winning streak going.

Does Montreal even HAVE an enforcer?
I mean, its not like Laraque ever fights.

I think the Blues will rebound from their poor performance in Columbus and sneak out of Montreal with a 3-2 win in OT

Berg missed practice yesterday and apparently was sick. Might explain why he didn't have the same jump in his game on Monday night. The odds this he is a healthy scratch are pretty much nil. Laraque isn't even playing according to the Habs fans.

I was feeling depressed that I won't get to see the game tonight because I have class, but the game is blacked out anyway.

Jan 11. Andy McDonald did not skate with the team on Monday and looks to be out of the lineup for Tuesday, if not longer. McDonald suffered an injury during the 4-3 win at Los Angeles that coach Davis Payne described as “mid-body.” McDonald appeared to be bothered by something in the hip or stomach area while on the bench in L.A. What's the over/under on the number of "Perron/Backes/Berglund to the Habs" threads in the Trade Rumors forum tonight and/or tomorrow? Go Blues!

Why Boyes is on the 4th line? He leads the team in points, and it's not like his +/- was really bad...

Prob like the other night, All of our lines have players that can score and can be dangerous at anytime! We dont just have one scoring line the Habs have to shut down, spreading out the talent forces them to play against every line.

WOW Cam Rocked Price!!! thats what happens when you're out that far!!

How the hell do we end up with the penalty out of that? And, nonetheless, we get a PP goal scored on.

Conklin should've came all out since he got to center ice! Conklin vs Price would have been awesome

how janssen ends up with the only penalty out of that eludes me. janssen was going after the puck, the contact was initiated by price... im not a fan of either of these teams but that call seems strange to me.

can goalies just hit whoever they want and suffer no consequences?

Every time the Blues seem to grab ahold of a game, the refs show up and bite them in the ass. 2 players jump a Blue and we end up shorthanded. Thanks. Once again i ask, why dont the Blues petition the NHL to start the game down 2-0 so we can get a fairly officiated game? Conklin should just skate out right infront of an opponent, then throw punches to get a powerplay.

So much for the Blues turning a corner. It sounds like they are doing the same old things they did under Andy Murray.

The coach needs to have some balls and bench Jackman, who was personally responsible for that 2nd goal and probably the loss. MacDonald needs to realize that he has 2 linemates he can pass the puck to instead of skating it down the boards and turning it over and what is Boyes doing on the 4th line...granted he has been aweful, but if hes not good enough to play on the top 2 lines he doesnt need to be here because tonight he is giving 0 effort. This season cannot get over soon enough.
