I'm actually heading up to the Pack game from Jersey tonight. Haven't been up there yet and planned this out a while back. Sucks that people are injured and the team is struggling.

Hopefully we get an entertaining Pack/Sound Tigers game and it makes my 2.5 hour drive worth it.

Plus AA is on pace to play a full 82 game NHL season, so adding another 7 AHL games to go with a compressed NHL schedule after the break might have been a bit much. In any event, it's not happening.

He gave up a goal in the first 19 seconds

Game is tied 1-1 though.

Yeah well.... Roche provided Moore with the perfect set-up at the top of the circles. Brutal, brutal turnover. Moore was wide open, skated in and beat Wiikman top corner, stick side.

Yep, took a stupid penalty, only time I noticed him. I use the channelsurfing.net stream, only works for me in internet explorer.

Pretty much the same he did the two weeks before that.

Didn't see it. Was watching the Rangers game and Opening Ceremonies. Meant to check for highlights, but have been out all day, just got back 10 minutes before the game started.

He's in the line-up, he's getting decent ice time. Took a dumb boarding penalty and then tried to get Gilles to go with him, but Gilles wasn't about blow the power play for his team. Been a lot of yapping between him and Gilles, but nothing more yet.

Tough night for Wiikman. Not getting much help.

Wiese looks good.

Anyone else think in Cory Locke's AHL.com picture he looks like a skinnier Martin Brodeur? It's quite scary actually.

Byers ties it up at 4. Hope he gets a shot next year instead of Voros on the fourth line.

brutal effort... but what can you expect with all the injuries, a bunch of ECHLers, 7th and 8th round draft picks, free agent overage undrafted players and NHL rejects?

I guess that's what bad luck (injuries), bad drafting and bad FA signings do to the team... Thanks Glen!

I agree that last goal was real weak, but the others I can't fault him too much.

Give me a god damn break if you think the goals allowed were all Wiikman's fault. Too much lazy standing around by this team. This is just a plain old mess.

Byers should be in the NHL.

Last start in AHL was 10/30.
Last start in Charlotte was 1/29.

You know what guys and ladies I am sorry but you people really mistake bad goal tending for poor play a lot. When ever a favorite on here gives up a bunch of goals it is poor team play but if it was Vally he just sucks? Guys he was beat under his arm pit 2 times and was guilty of playing ass in the net most of the night. Take the blinders off. Yes the team is weaker but tonight no big saves.
