10 minutes to game-time, there were exactly 40 tickets available. If they announce a sell-out, you know they're BS'n.

Yes, it's possible 40 people wanted to see this game, on their own, but I highly doubt 40 people made that decision in the 11th hour.

Even though we don't play them again until March 23rd, I hope the guys keep this games in the back of their minds- not so much the fact it was a loss, but the way it happened.

Come that contest, the Oilers need to give the Canucks something to really cry about. Go for the head, knee, whatever it takes. So what if Stortini- hell, Souray, if he's still here- gets suspended? Oh no Mr. Bettman, but we'll lose even more games!

It would doubly be as sweet if one or two of the more practiced divers ended up having their season ended. No team who plays the way Vancouver did tonight deserves the respect of their opponents or a sniff at the Stanley Cup.

In order to play devils advocate, I don't think Mason Raymond dove in the "trying to draw a penalty" sense, I think he dove for the puck to get at it.

That said, horrible call, complete BS - won't get an argument from a Canucks fan about that I imagine.

"Tea bag receivers" might be more accurate.

Edit: You know what's absolutely shameful? I used to watch soccer and just get absolutely FURIOUS watching those stupid players dive, the fact that it has slowly made it's way to hockey is just totally disgusting. Totally ruins a game.

You'd have to suspend half the Canucks team for diving.

Ah yes, let's all sing a song of the great Vancouver Canucks. What an amazing, valiant, tough victory. Let's hear it for them. What a magnificent performance.

Little bit uncalled for Buggman, go for the head and knee, try to injure players..... I hate the Canucks as much as the next guy but that's over the top.

Raymond jumped for the puck to push it forward, it was far from a dive.

It was a terrible terrible reffing call, hopefully next time the game would be reffed a bit better.

Bizz, I'll just suggest to you that the Oilers fanbase is particularly jaded at the moment.

Fans will see calls differently, so it's probably best to not beat this against the bush.

Cheers mate, and thanks for being polite

So what? The Oilers once again played an excellent 2 and a half periods, dragging the dead weight of our moron leaders Horcoff and Moreau along...

Then they just decided to let the Canucks control all of the play in the last ten minutes.

The refs didn't help us out, but once again, the team squanders a very good performance from most of the team.

lol @ Quinn.

Mark Spector kind of eggs him on by saying that the Canucks made a lot of noise about the penalties and seemed to have gotten their way.

Quinn says, "What do you want me to do? Do you want me to dig into my kids' inheritance again?"

With all due respect we don't need pious remarks of a Nuck fan arrogantly perched on his soapbox right now.

Seriously, this is why Nuck fans get unfairly judged on HF. Is a little tact asking too much? Stay off another teams board after they've lost.

Not that this scenario happens to us often lol but we know better.
