Could be an honest mistake by the author of the article, but it certainly doesn't give him or this rumor much credibility. Would love if this was the case, however.

Get him the **** out of here. Trade him, waive him, send him down, send him to the Czech Republic, send him to Russia. Anything, just get him off this team. He's even worse than I expected he was going to be.

I call BS on the article.

Author doesn't even know the guy aint from russia.

Anyway.. if a player chooses to ditch the team, I can't imagine that the team would be held liable for the cap hit.

for the life of me i can't figure out how a guy with his size and shot, and halfway decent skating ability isn't a perennial 60pt player in the post lock-out NHL.
