Sorry if this is so early, but if monsoons happen in Missouri, it seems like we are getting one. And I have a dentist appointment today, so I decided that I had better get this in before the dentist appointment and/or a storm knocks out my power.

Go Blues!

Well obviously McDonald is no longer injured considering he had the ot goal last night. Hope we can start this game off like last nights but keep it up for the 2nd and 3rd Period. LETS GO BLUES.

Let's get within four points of that eight spot!

I'm assuming Mason is back in net tonight.

Hope they keep Cam in too.

We need the Kings, Ducks, and the Wings to all lose tonight. If we win and that happens, we'll be four points back.

David Backes will not be in the lineup tonight due to an “upper body” issue. Backes has been dealing with a number of aches and pains and might have tweaked a sore hip in the game at Montreal.

Thanks.

I'm guessing if this weren't a back to back that he'd be in tonight.

Best guess (based on the Backes/Berglund swap & last night's configuration):

Kariya-Berglund-Oshie
McDonald-Tkachuk-Perron
Steen-McClement-Crombeen
Winchester-Boyes-Janssen

Jackman-Polak
Brewer-Johnson
Colaiacovo-Sydor/Weaver

Mason
Conklin

Watched you guys last night vs the habs.. I thought your puck pressure was really good, and thought you played somewhat the same style that we do. Should make for a good game tonight.

I doubt he'll get that playing on the fourth line. But he needs to pick it up. I think he's been my biggest disappointment this year by far.

Being that this in Ottawa I have to tell you the ice looks absolutley terrible. It's bouncing everywhere.

Did they just have a rodeo there or something?

Agreed. He could have popped Carkner after he fell but didn't, showed respect. Nice to see it still exists in the game today.

It's like how he waits for the other guy to wear out then starts wailing.

Berglund looks pretty strong on the puck again tonight.

Janssen is one of the best fighters in Blues history. Twist and Ewen are the only two that would kick his arse. King probably too. But that's about it. He would destroy Sutter, Kimble and Chase

How do you guys like Polak over there? I've noticed him watching the game tonight and last night vs the Habs, and thought he looked really solid and confident out there, especially in the d-zone.
