I honestly think he's probably our most reliable defenseman. Maybe the fastest guy on the team too.

He'll get a nice raise this offseason.

Looks like the same game we watched against Columbus. No intensity, no forecheck, no hitting.

I don't care that they played last night.

Seriously, it's like a two hour bus ride. If they flew it would be like twenty minutes.

Get it together boys.

EDIT: Huge goal. Great things happen when you just throw the puck on the net.

Agreed. Horrible play tonight. We need to establish some consistency and in a good way!

Another very uninspired game by PK. Only uses his speed if he sees a breakaway.

GOAL!!!

Hello there Blues fans. I noticed Ty Conkin wearing a cool retro hat on the bench tonight. I was wondering, where can I find one of these to purchase? They are amazing.

Thanks in Advance!

I think that's Erik Johnson's hat and I'm not sure how he ended up with it (Johnson). I'm pretty sure it was an inside joke or something like that.

Conklin was making fun of in the pregame show when they were talking about his fu manchu.

I'd check ebay.

If only Boyes could play this way every game. Or even every other game.

Let's get these two points and get the hell out of Dodge.

Did the spirit of Auger just **** us over? That's easily the worst call I've seen all year.

How is that a penalty?

Jesus Christ.

Seems like every time we play the Sens we get screwed royally by the officiating.

Remember two years ago when we had two goals that the refs refused to review that should have been goals? Then we lost the game.

Ahhh, looky there. They scored on the PP that should have never been.

What a bunch of clowns.

I actually laughed out loud at that call. What a joke. NHL officials refuse to release their stranglehold on the title of "worst officials in sports".

Personally, I feel it's time for referees to be publicly held accountable, just as players are. The officiating in this league has hit a new low, and it's been made fairly obvious that no one in the NHL gives a flying crap.

Do the refs get two points in the standings?

They decided the game with absolutely pitiful, painful officiating.

Just amazes me.

I wish I could hear what Kelly Chase was saying on the radio.

The Blues really missed Backes' physical play out there tonight. I hope he's healed up for Saturday....that game against Anaheim is going to be critical.

The ice looked even worse than St Louis ice. The officiating wasn't very impressive. Despite that, the Blues still should have gotten at least a point. They dominated the third period. Special teams really laid an egg. Our PK looked pretty fragile against the worst PP in the league (though to give credit, I thought Ottawa played aggressively on the PP).

A PP goal would have made a world of difference. That last PP of the game, you've got to find a way to convert. As much as I like Perron, he gums up the PP. He passes up shots he should take and holds the puck too long, allowing the defense time to recover. Blues missed Cola on the point, too.

2 out of 6 points on the road trip isn't going to cut it. Still signs of life, but the Blues can't afford to squander chances like this to make up ground in the standings.

Not really...but congrats on the win. Wish we'd have shown up for the first 39 minutes of the game...would've made it a more compelling contest.

I think Weaver really would have helped there. Sydor is a waste of roster space in my opinion.

I will be interesting to know the extent of the Cola and Backes injuries.
