Here are my picks:

Hart = Martin St-Louis
Norris = Scott Niedermayer (Aucoin not nominated???)
Selke = Alyn McCauley
Vezina = Roberto Luongo
Calder = MICHAEL RYDER
Lady Byng = Brad Richards
Jack Adam = Darryl Sutter

They are all Canadians!

Only Alfredsson, Chara and Kiprusoff are not Canadians among the nominees!

I know that nominations for such awards most be sooo tough to narrow down, BUT i still can't see why CJ didn't get a nod for the Jack Adams... now i know that the three who have be nominated have justifiable cases and rightly so are nominated... I just wonder how for a team that some experts ranked as low as 26th in the NHL - no chance of the playoffs at the begin of the year, and also the proud owners of a Division Champion's scalp, how voters could over look him.... Then again that is Experts for you right... Oh well... Who needs a stinky award to tell us fans we have a GREAT coach!!! Keep up the good work Claude.... and....

GO GO!!!!

John Tortorella was born in Boston, MA. And while Ron Wilson is TeamUSA's head coach, I can't say for sure if he was born in the U.S.

My money is on Sutter over Tortorella. The Lightning were at least in the mix last year whereas the Flames were pegged lower than the Habs. He's done an amazing turnaround with essentially the same players. This is not to take away from Tort's job though, which was great too.
For the same reason, I'd say Wilson has a better shot than Tort. But then again, no one sent me a voting slip this year...

Would have liked to see CJ in the top 3 for the Adams, but the guys there are pretty deserving.

I don't think Brodeur deserves to be a Hart finalist, but I would imagine he's 3rd behind St.Louis and Iggy anyway. I also remember St.Louis saying he didn't want to get any Lady Byng votes, guess the writers never listened to him.

And correct if I'm wrong, but these are the three top vote getters for each award, they're not nominated. The voting has already taken place and these were the guys who came out on top. Yeah, I'm getting a little nitpicky, but I'm bored.

Should have figured that Brodeur is in the running for Hart and Vezina. how do you spell over-rated...
B-R-O-D-E-U-R.

how it SHOULD pan out:
Hart: St. Louis or Iginla
Norris: Toss up...all are superior.
Selke: Draper but i am pleased that McCauley is in there.
Vezina: Luongo (Kiprusoff if he had played more games)
Calder: Raycroft
Byng: Richards or Alfredssssson
Adams: all three...outstanding.

How it probaby will pan out:
Hart: Brodeur
Norris: Pronger
Selke: Madden
Vezina: Luongo
Calder: Raycroft
Byng: St. Louis
Adams: Tortorella

Andy Murray, from Los Angeles, should be awarded the Adams.
The rest is are all deserving as well.. but.. look at what he did with the injuries.

Kiprusoff - Vezina
Lt.Louis - Hart
Chara - Norris
Ryder - Calder
