Ok, I think that might be exaggerating a bit but Ross McKeon points it out in a recent article and it's certainly something for us Yotes fans to think/stress about!
And that finally gets us to blowouts. Get used to them. Not that itís going to happen every night, but there are going to be a bigger number of lopsided games from here on out because this is the most brutal NHL schedule of all time.
Every time you turn around someone is playing back-to-backs, three in four nights or for their fourth time in six nights When the super tired team runs into the somewhat rested team & regardless who the two teams are Ė itís going to get ugly and stay ugly.
The thing that I'm concerned about the most is that, in addition to the bunched up schedule, 11 of the Yotes final 15 games are on the road. Several of those against teams that will llikely be fighting it out for final playoff spots. I hope the Yotes get well rested during the Olympics.
