carcillo definitely went chasing after gaborik, but gaborik definitely agreed to drop them/was willing. idk how you can see it any other way. this is gonna be awesome.

Dubi and a Flyer were going at it on top of the crease.
Carcillo comes charging in and headlocks gaborik, they jossle, Gaborik drops the gloves first and Carcillo gives in obviously.

That is exactly what happened, no more, no less

Have you ever seen a scrum before? Tortorella put Gaborik's line against Carcillo, and Lapperiere,

The Dubinsky instgated a scrum, and the people match off one on one

Out of nowhere? There was a scrum, Gaborik dropped them... that's all there is to it. Good on Gaborik for fighting, but call it what it is.

There was by no means any jumping involved here.

yes, "go out there and antagonize their best player" is a novel approach to the game.

kudos to Gaborik for dropping them and standing up for himself....maybe not the smartest move.

The flyers 4th line iced the puck, couldnt change and Torts PUT the first line on. DOnt try and twist it and make it seem like Laviolette did this

You know they goon it up more than any other team in the league. Don't play dumb. It's been that way for decades.

Torts, and subsequently all Rangers fans are going to turn purple and have strokes by the end of this one.

Cry more, please.

If Carcillo took Gaborik out for 5 minutes, he's doing his job.

Not sure Gaborik landed any there. Took a bunch, though.

Not sure why there is so much finger-pointing in this thread. There is no one "to blame" here, per se.

That said, NYR must make Carcillo answer the bell later in this game. That's just the way it works when your bottom-six, tough guy takes liberties with my star. It works that way for every team...every team with a pulse and spine.

I think the funniest part of all this is watching the Rangers not do anything about it

I saw this on the box score. What in the hell would cause Gaborik to drop the gloves with Carcillo?

he didnt jump anyone, just seen the replay and Gaborik if didnt want a beating like he took he shouldnt have kept being the aggressor.

Not sure the Rangers have a guy dressed that could take Carcillo. I certainly don't think Dubinski wants anything to do with that fight, despite how he acted in the box.
