Nice shot by OD there. Zus with the screen.

The key to scoring on Miller is blinding him.

Nice work by Murray and co. getting Zeus and Fro out there. They did a great job holding it in and making sure the pker's couldn't get off the ice.

It's nice to be the team scoring the last minute goal for a change!

Just wanted to say you guys have probably the best "out of town" announcers I have heard in quite some time. A pleasant break from some of the announcers sabres fans have had to suffer through on this west coast trip (all feeds are coming from the west coast teams feed for this road trip).

Good game. Rooting for LA to make the playoffs this year.

By the sound of it ....I would guess Anaheim Hayward.

I was meant to post a while ago but forgot until that goal, that i always though Zeus should be on the first powerplay and not brown, because zeus is so much better in front of the net. I can remember a ton of goals scored this year with Zeus standing infront of the keeper, but none with Brown there. It would also give us a chance to win an offensive zone faceoff on the powerplay once in a while.

You don't need to play specific positions on the powerplay, hell the Caps had Ovechkin-Morrison playing D on their powerplay vs the Pens

How big was that tying goal for the Kings? Only four teams in the NHL have a perfect record this season when leading after two periods. One is the Kings, at 18-0-0. Another? The Sabres, at 19-0-0.
Interesting quote from Hammond.

Correct but with the way Miller is playing this year, it's the only real option.

I'm happy for O'D getting that goal. He has had a hard time a couple of games.

So the outcome of the game will be decided in the first five minutes of the third?

... Again I think the Kings can score on him with the same options they would use to score on anyone. They got one on a screen, they got one on a deflection, they could beat him on a great cross pass and a one-timer, they could get him on a rebound. Miller just makes the job tougher, meaning they need a higher number of those sort of chances. It's not about discovering the "right" type of chance, it's about creating chance after chance after chance and eventually they'll get some through.

If there is anyone that could score on Miller without a screen, it's him.

We're harsh. We expect A LOT from Kopitar. Other fans are really only marginally aware of him, particularly for the Eastern Conference.

Flames lost and the Quacks are losing. I like it. Now the Kings just need to take care of business.
