Is Hartnell now a NHL Hero?

Watch this video until the end.

Is Hartnell now a hero amongst NHL fans? This was a long time coming.

Why? Avery didn't even have time to drop both gloves

Anyone who pops Avery like that gets Respect +1 from me.

But I still think Hartnell's a tool.

Fighting with a visor makes you a hero? Oh you mean the other definition of hero.

Are you serious?

Even the bias commentators acknowledge Hartnell connected 2 big blows, watch the replay at the end.

I mean "hero" as in beating down Avery who is the disgraceful clown of the NHL.

If he would have bit him yes. He is still short of hero status on my scorecard.

Really, after the Carcillo Gaborik thing you can make a case that many were actually rooting for Avery there.

So Carrot Top over there got a few punches in on a guy he's 4" taller and 15 lbs heaver than, all before he could completely get his gloves off. Good for him.

Also, Philly has an even bigger sideshow in Carcillo embarrassing himself on their team. I'd prefer a video of him getting dummied over this "fight"

Avery beating down Carcillo more than makes up for his earlier fight.

To bad Rangers fans didn't realize Carcillo's knuckles were bleeding pretty bad after schooling wannabe tough guy Gaborik.

I guess that is what happens when you don't watch hockey and only listen to the bias commentary of your own team.

Hahaha. I agree with you there, he won over _Gaborik_. Not much of an accomplishment though is it?

The Flyers are not going to punch their way to a Stanley Cup. Its all a lot of wasted energy.

If Avery had landed any vs. Hartnell, maybe his knuckles would have been mush as well.

Carbomb wins that fight 9 times out of 10. Hope for a rematch next game.
