I Got Your Nontraditional Market Right Here PREDS @ COYOTES

NASHVILLE Predators Vs PHOENIX Coyotes.

nontraditional market, check.
pegged to be a bottom dweller by the hockey experts, check.
holding down a current playoff position, check.
loving every minute of it, check.

Ellis in net, Dumont left in Nashville...

We left J.P. In NSH, he's fighting the flu, but may join us tomorrow in COL. Ellis will be in net after his solid relief appearance on Mon.

Will be interesting to see how the lineup changes. Puts Belak in the lineup to possibly matchup against Bissonette, but look for Jones or Spaling to get moved up a line or two...

does anybody know who the person behind that twitter account is?

Also, I highly recommend going HERE and listening to Yotes Quotes with Vernon Fiddler.

Now this is just an assumption, but its the fathers trip. Tootoos dad was at the practice tuesday. So I would assume they are going to phoenix. Don't see him going if he's not playing.

And....

On Jan 18th, the Predators scored all three of their goals at even strength for the third straight game. Prior to this stretch, they had scored 8 out of 10 goals on special teams (6 PP, 2SH) over a 4 game span.

Goc built on a career high 10th goal of the season, giving him 13 points (6G, 7A) in his last 16 games. It was only his 2nd goal on home ice. He has 14 points in his last 14 road games, and 15 of this 19 points have come away from Nashville.

Predators enter the game tonight on a 5 game road winning streak dating back to December 29th (2nd longest streak in franchise history). The Preds are 11-2-1 in their last 14 games on the road. The Predators have the League’s second-best record when leading after one period (16-1-0)

Preds are 2nd (only to Washington) in the League for even strength road goals (60). Additionally, we are 3rd behind Chicago and Washington in road plus/minus (+14).

Weber has 7 of his 9 goals away from the Sommet Center and has 6 points (2G, 4A) in his last 5 road games.

Franson had a goal and an assists on Monday's game, giving him his 4th multi-point game of his 37 game career. Only two Predators draftees (Radulov, 5 and Hall, 4) have had that many multi-point games in their first season (Legwand, Weber, Hamhuis, and Suter all had 3). His +9 is 2nd amongst all rookies.

With 4 appearances in 2010, Ellis has posted a 1.30 GAA and a .950 SV%.

He's finally back tonight. Hopefully Trotz puts him out there early and puts Phoenix on their heels. I expect to see:

Sullivan-Arnott-Hornqvist
Jones-Legwand-Ward
Tootoo-Goc-Erat
Smithson-Spaling-Belak

Maybe flip Smithson and Jones, depending on what mood Trotz is in.

Tornado watch, not warning. They've dropped the puck...

Anyone know of a working stream? Nothing popping up so far...

I hate how this team waits until they fall behind to start showing some jump in their game. Imagine if we really pressed straight out of the gate.

Fiddler has had a strong game so far, he must have a ton of emotion.

Belak brings that 4th line down to a grinding halt. They just cant get going.

Coyotes are playing an unexceptional but very sound and steady game.

Now that's better.

Two goals, 40 seconds. Sweet.

Go Preds!

I had a good feeling about tonight. I mean we're not at home...

Took awhile to get the lead. Keep it going!
