Leafs @ Panthers 7:00 EST CBC's Hockey Night in Canada

vs.

Line-Ups

Hagman - Bozak - Kessel
Ponikarovsky - Stajan - Blake
Kulemin - Primeau - Stempniak
Mitchell - Mayers - Orr

White - Kaberle
Beauchemin - Gunnarson
Schenn - Finger

Gustavsson
Toskala

Panthers line-up anyone?

Figured someone should make a GDT, no intention to step on any toes, of course.

The Panthers lineup is so putrid, it's not worth posting. Horton will not play, he's out 4-6 weeks with a broken tibia now.

I see they have that third line back together that did well for us earlier on in the year

To use a word that was used to describe the Panthers line up ...

Primeau and Stempniak were putrid last game, maybe Nik can save them tonight?

There is absolutly no excuse to lose this game. Horton is out, this is a very, very winable game.

Last time the Leafs played the Panthers this year the GDT had a measily 219 replies and 9 pages even though the Leafs won the game 3-2. The reason? We were all watching the World Juniors gold metal game on the same night.

no chance we win this with the way Vokoun is playing recently.

Let's hope I am wrong though.

I didn't know Vokoun scored goals.

Kulemin hasn't been really delivering as of late. Hagman has more goals if I remember correctly and him, with Bozak and Kessel should be the best combination of fire power we have. (sad eh?)

Oh believe me, I'm on the Bozak train, it's just sad that our top line consists of a guy who's played 7 games, a cold first line star and a hot third liner.

I'm really pulling for Gustavsson. With all the crap he's gone through this season, and he's still managed to put together some respectable numbers. He really needs to elevate his game though, if he's going to set himself up as the starting goalie for next season.

Kulemin has 7 pts in his last ten games. Hagman has 5 pts. He has two goals during that stretch, Kulemin has 3.

I'm ok with trying Hagman on the first line, but Kulemin should be playing with Poni/Stajan.

You're usually right about these things so I'll take your word for it, but Ice Chips has exelby in the lineup. Is Finger being in a recent change?

Kulemin's been playing on the top line for that stretch. Hagman wasn't.
If Hagman was playing on the top line, I'm sure it would be reversed. Hagman's simply better than Kulemin.

Looks like Habs - Rangers will be the national game tonight, which makes perfect sense given the state of the Leafs and Panthers right now. Hopefully this will help shut up all the people who always complain that cbc forces the Leafs down the throats of the rest of Canada on Saturday nights.

We have Leafs v. Panthers here in NL.
We usually fall under that National Game area. So I think the National game is the leafs game.
