Wonder what the lines are going to look like. I don't see where Maxwell will fit in; wouldn't it be a waste to have him on the fourth line if that ends up being the case?

Has Maxwell ever played wing with the Dogs? I hope he gets a chance to at least play on a scoring line.

I hope this wakes D'ago up from the funk he has been in for some time now. The dude should be putting more effort into each shift and he simply has not.

I haven't been paying attention to the Bulldogs stats... didn't realize Trotter was PPG (20g, 25a in 44 games) and Deharnais has 41 pts in 32 games. Good stuff.

Hopefully Maxwell has a better stint this time around than last.

Good move.

Maxwell can show if he can hang in NHL and IMO he'll be tried on top6.
Sergei can be very effective as a 3rd liner.

Playoff push? Well that's marginal really. If we are truly in a playoff push, why would simply buy out Laraque? Wouldn't we keep him and just play him when needed?

Seems like we going in a different direction with the team. Playing (developing) the young talent, in unison with trying to win. Guys like White, Maxwell, D'Ago, MaxPac are all on the cusp of the AHL / NHL, so they're really all interchangeable.

tanguay barely has 20 points
and kovalevs "hangin in there" but u can bet ur ass hes missing the godlike stature he had in MTL

lol but dont gimmie that "dagostini" is gonna haunt us down the road bull****, if he does produce well somewhere else, good for him, but hes a waste of a roster spot right now

with patches, least hes still only 21, rushed a BIT too soon, but now at least management is giving him some much needed AHL time, build up some confidence with some goals and points and playing on a SOLID ahl team, itll only do wonders for patches, with dago, we cant EVEN send him down because of waivers, hes completely useless to us now, he cant even GET prospect conditioning anymore cuz he's past his development age, at 23, its you PLAY or your OUT, and dagos almost out, good riddance
patience...that's all I'm asking. The guy has natural scoring ability...he's just not ready. I wish he could play in the minors to develop other parts of his game but alas the Habs rushed him and he's pretty much done in Montreal. Player development is a huge issue with this organization.

really, though. people have been saying we couldn't send him down because we'd lose him for nothing. well, whether he went down on a condition stint or is subject to waivers, it shouldn't matter now. he shot his value all to hell.

is trotter defensively responsible? might make a good third liner if so.

Because he wasn't needed... and apparently was a distraction. How does getting rid of Laraque mean that we're not in a playoff push?

I don't think D'Agostini is waiver eligible...

Pacioretty has 86 career NHL games and D'Agostini has 89 career NHL games. If MaxP isn't waiver eligible, neither is D'Agostini.

I'd like to see both of them remain there the rest of the year...they were both brought up too quickly, they need to find their confidence again.

not on waivers.

D’Agostini n'a pas eu besoin de passer au ballottage car il est cédé pour conditionnement pour un maximum de deux semaines.

It also depends on what age they signed their first pro contract at, IIRC. It's more than just games played.

Edit: it's a conditioning assignment so D'Agostini is still waiver-eligible.

Hell if anything, patches and dagostini will make the bulldogs even BETTER and might put them over the top lmao

D'agostini is a fourth-year pro. Pacioretty is in his second year on an entry-level contract.

Yes, exactly as you said. I think D'agostini signed his first NHL contract when he was 20. So he is waiver eligible after 3 years. So he would be waiver eligible if this wasn't a conditioning stint.

To his credit, it shouldn't be very difficult for him to do this.
