I am so excited, man. Being a Kings' fan has been a tough ride, especially the past few years, and this feels like one of the many rewards we'll be getting for many years to come.
MURRAY: “As a series goes along, it does change. I think, in the early part of a series, you’ve to make sure that you’ve covered your bases with the gritty guys, physical guys, and then, depending on how things move through that first four games, then you have to be ready to make adjustments, because everything is so critical later on. Any retaliation, or not dealing with the grit that’s in the game the right way, could put the other team on the power play. Discipline and poise is critical at that time.”
That pic really shows that the "new" crown logo is so much better than the shield. The shield is just a bit too busy for a main logo.
I don`t know, I am still a big fan of that logo. In fact that was one of the primary reasons I became a Kings fan (yes I was fairly young). It is by far my favorite logo in sports still in fact.
With Colorado losing tonight, Kings clinch the 7th spot.
Really, they should be able to get at least 3 points in the next two games...they should win at home against Edmonton for sure. 3 points ensures the 6th spot.
I much rather face Vancouver than either San Jose or Chicago right now...Chicago has won 6 in a row and are dominating.
Still, the Kings should win out. That blown 2 points against Phoenix last night really hurt because Detroit was gifted with yet another game against CBJ (read: win), that makes three in the past week. All wins.
But it is all on the Kings. They STILL control their own destiny. Would love to see them against Phoenix. I didn't see anything that particularly impressed me about Phoenix last night. We pretty much gave that game away.
