Brashear has already whupped Domi a few times already. What makes you think it'll change?

That said, Domi is a better player.

6'3'' 225 Brashear VS 5'9'' 210 Domi? Tough decision...

Brashear, just like every other time they've fought in the last 5 years.

I hope they drop em, but I have a feeling there will be alot of pushing and talking between the two, but no dukes til at least game 6, if at all.

I'd take Brashear if they go, mind you.

If you went just by size Domi would never have won any fights in his career.

Domi was spanked like a red-headded step child. Brashear left fist marks all over his face, but gets knocked off balance, and Domi wins? This isnt JUDO. Brashear clearly did more damage, and Domi ran scared from him whenever Brash wanted to go after that.

This really shouldn't be this close.

Brashear is a much better fighter (read: hugger) right now.
Brashear has dominated Domi for a while now.

As far as worth to their teams though they're about equal with but with a slgiht edge to Domi.

I think alot of it was trying to draw a penalty against the opposing team.

When I saw this thread I thought it was going to be a "Who's a better player?" question. As for if they fight, Brashear will win, but Domi's head of steel will feel nothing at all.

I did want to say one thing about Domi. Pound for pound, he is probably one of the toughest guys I've ever seen in my 30 years of watching the NHL. Say what you will about him, he is also one of the most annoying guys I've ever seen. But the guy can also flat out play. The 1st round series against the Sens he was a force, and actually had the most offensive chances of anyone on the Leafs. I don't respect all of the theatrics and the other garbage, but I gotta give the man his props.

That being said, I think it helps his image that he has someone else (Darcy Tucker) who takes the theatrical limelight away from him.

BTW Liquidrage, AWESOME avatar! You should have Teezax mix that one, along with Steve L.'s Tucker preparing for the playoffs into the SOB playoff av.

When has Brashear ever turtled? Turned down a fight? sure. Picked his spots? definately, but i've never seen him turtle. Nor have I ever seen him lose a fight Tie Domi. I have, however, seen him beat Domi many a time (including last year's playoffs and all of last season). Anyway, it's a moot point as tie is an even bigger spot picker at this point than Brashear is and I highly doubt he'd drop the gloves with Brash.
