Sounds like he had an impact in this one. Best of three now.

I was at this game (been able to see a number of IceDogs games lately), and he was great. Both goals were sweet, and he was feisty. I even saw him check a few guys and talk trash when Majors players got on his case. He missed a couple chances in the first, one on a blind spin shot that just missed the left post by a foot or two, but he was really into the game. I've talked a lot about O'Sullivan since joining HF, and now I'm hoping that it's not so much that I won't be able to draft him in my fantasy keeper league next season

I'll be attending tonight's game. I could give a brief rundown of what I see.

I just checked the OHL ticker..1-1 after 2 periods. Looks like a good game, wish I'd gone. Check who is listed as a linesman on the game sheet

O'Sullivan will be the steal of his draft year. When Gretzky had the talk with Patty at the draft (Wayne told him to enjoy the day because it's something that Pat worked hard for and it is something his father can't take away from it), it brought Patrick to a new level. There's a renewed vigor and fire in his game. And that's what makes Gretzky so great....the ability to bring out the best in others.

Ice Dogs won 3-2 in OT. Nothing in the books for Patrick O'Sullivan though.

...How did I miss that?

It was definitely a good game to watch. Lots of chances at both ends. Sully had a decent game. I found it funny how the Majors were trying to throw him off his game. When he was skating on the ice, Scott Lehman tapped the back of his leg with his stick as he went in the other direction.

IceDogs now lead the series 3-2. Man, will the Majors ever be pissed if they let this one slip and lose in the Conference finals for the 4th year in a row...

2 assists and a goal (also 3rd star) for O'Sullivan as the Ice Dogs ice the Majors (sorry, the headlines are rubbing off on me) and take the eastern conference.
A Majors-oriented recap here: http://www.oursportscentral.com/serv...318&id=3026989

Wow, I'd never have guessed that Mississauga would make it to the OHL finals. Here's hoping that this is the springboard for Paddy O's NHL debut next season.

O'Sullivan was great in this game. His 2 assists were both finesse saucers passes that resulted in goals. But I'm surprised no one has shown or writted about his goal. I've seen countless Junior games and Patrick may have scored the best goal I've ever seen live. He deked the defenseman, then dragged the puck around him, then broke clear in on the goalie in 2 strides and ripped a laser top corner. Unbelievable skill and hands.

Yeah, it doesn't look good. Game 2 they had a chance to tie the series but lost 2-1. The Storm got their second goal on a bad giveaway by Butera I believe. The Storm are clearly the better team in the series. The West was a stronger division this year. I'm going to the game tomorrow and hoping it's not the end of the finals already.

Dude, you are so not kidding. I don't know why there's been no mention of it either, I was going to comment, but since I'm always hyping O'Sullivan I didn't think anyone would listen....and I figured SOMEBODY would have mentioned it ......anyway, I think that was the same day Cheechoo scored his between the legs goal....[which i thought was wicked] but after I saw O'Sullivan's......Cheechoo's didn't look so great....do you have a clip? Doesn't ANYONE have a clip of it? I can't believe I haven't freakin seen one on here....Of all the hyped up prospects - for any team - I think he's one of the rare few that really does have the skill to back it up....too bad nobody gets to see him....
