Vegas and bookie odds have Habs as 2-1 underdog

Date # Team Money Line Total

04-22-04
7:35 PM 213 Maple Leafs (Toronto) +160 1.5(-230) o4.5(Even)
214 Flyers (Philadelphia) -180 -1.5(+190) u4.5(-120)

04-22-04
7:35 PM 215 Flames (Calgary) +240 1.5(-145) o4.5(-135)
216 Red Wings (Detroit) -280 -1.5(+125) u4.5(+115)

04-22-04
10:05 PM 217 Avalanche (Colorado) Even 1.5(-300) o4.5(-130)
218 Sharks (San Jose) -120 -1.5(+240) u4.5(+110)

04-23-04
7:05 PM 301 Canadiens (Montreal) +165 1.5(-240) o4.5(-125)
302 Lightning (Tampa Bay) -190 -1.5(+200) u4.5(+105)

71 Toronto Maple Leafs PK +140
72 Philadelphia Flyers Series PK -160

73 Calgary Flames PK +325
74 Detroit Red Wings Series PK -450

75 Colorado Avalanche Series PK -160
76 San Jose Sharks Series PK +140

77 Montreal Canadiens Series PK +190
78 Tampa Bay Lightning Series PK -230

Conference semifinals odds from Will Hill, a British bookie, in a simpler form:
-Philadelphia is a 3:2 favorite against Toronto
-Tampa Bay is slightly more than 2:1 favorite against Montreal (11:5 to be exact)
-Colorado is a 3:2 favorite against San Jose
-Detroit is a 4:1 favorite against Calgary

So it looks like the odds makers believe the Wings are a sure thing against the Flames, the Lightning is a strong favorite against the Habs, and the Flyers and Avalanche have an edge aginst the Leafs and the Sharks.

Let us not forget that the bookies in Las Vegas have not seen Lafleur in a trance-like state muttering over and over, "Habs over Tampa."

Sequence of order:

Zednified = We face Lightning = Dutchy celebrates by putting ON his pants = Lafleur zapped = HABS OVER TAMPA = God intervenes = I beat the bad guys on my playstation = Mooch gets 25 on test = Masked banana = Serious protest (I put my pant leg up to protest) = win over Tampa.

As you can see from the above, this is conclusive evidence that the Canadiens are OBVIOUSLY going to beat Tampa Bay in this series. These bookies must be blind or something.

Lafleur is on a hunger strike. He also has his LEFT pant leg up in protest. He wants me to buy one of his stupid anti-balding products again.
