Iginla vs PM9/P88 Bauer?

Are these the same curves?

Explain why or why not using full sentence answers. (Just practicing for when I become a teacher)

Thanks!

Iginla and P88 are very close. I have both and went to the P88 when I went from Easton.

The P88 has slightly more curve to it and is just slightly more open, but they are quite close.

I cant comment on the PM9

K, the PM9 is like slightly less curve than the P88.

I have people telling me the Iginla is exactly like the PM9, some saying it's nothing like the PM9 nor the P88.

I'm confused :S

The PM9 is a heel curve and the middle portion is just about straight with not much curve. I have just one here and haven't gotten around to really using that much yet.

I buy a few blades of different patterns or blades in a small bundle when on sale etc. i like to try different things out to change things up sometimes.

I have enough blades for a few years probably.

I have an RBK pro-stock which had a white ink stamped on it IG17 which was the Iginla pattern for their pro-stock blades a couple of years ago.

I have a Harrow blade that is the equivalent to the P88 / Iginla as it is listed on their site. they are virtually the same and i still say these patterns vary company to company ever so slightly anyway.

The P88 and Iginla are mid curves and are more of an "all purpose" pattern.

Right now i use the "Lidstrom / Getzlaf / Samsonov" pattern which has a terrible backhand shot because of the open face on them but are fantastic for slapshots and snappers but we are not talking about that one so I i'll shutup now

The PM9 is a heel curve, but it's a similar depth to the Iginla and is closed, as is the Iginla. P88 is a mid and closed, but deeper.

Bauer's Iginla clone is the P12. It's available on the Bauer ID program. Bit higher lie though.

Iginla and p88 are very similar but not exactly the same. They are the closest counterparts between easton and bauer.

Pm9 and Iginla are not similar to each other. Iginla has a more of a squared toe with a flattish bottom and thin to thick top profile from heel to toe.

Pm9 is more rockered on the bottom and the profile on top is consistent from heel to toe. Also, the toe is round.

The modern P88 is really close to the Iginla, just a bit longer. It used to be a bigger curve with a rounder toe, but not anymore.

The PM9 is going to be lower lie and a bit more heel curve, but all three are pretty small curves nowadays.

Iginla = Kane

Malkin curve has nothing to do with them.

Bauer P88 on left, Iginla on Right.

Similar curves, P88 has more curve, photo doesnt show well, but P88 slightly more open.

Okay thanks!

I've made up my mind: They're close enough!
