A Question about the Refs

Do they stay the same throughout the series, or do they change with each game?

If you mean "Do they get any better or are they always this horrible?"...then the answer is NO...NHL refereeing never changes.

I was referring to whether they linesmen change, like if they same two people that were on the ice last night will be on the ice Sunday. But, right, the calls against the Flyers will still be crap.

No, they rotate refs. Yes, they'll still suck.

Do you think Refs are bias because Flyers playing Canadian team... When Primeau hit Robert late in the 1st period Refs gave him 2 mins unsportsman... I saw Robert hitting Markov after whistle and couple of other leafs did the same in the game and refs seems to look away... I think someone should complain about it... You never what can happen from a complain... Because these hits after whistle can take its tole in seven games series... Don't you think so? How was very surprise by the way refs calles that game... I thought they were blind...

everyone knows the refs suck. they suck in the nhl and they suck in the ahl. but please dont act like we are the only series where we are getting hosed with the calls, the Nucks got hosed in the last minute of game 7 against calgary.

totally. I believe there's supposed to be a penalty called when debris is thrown on the ice any time except for a hat trick. At least a stoppage in play anyway. At least calgary was justified in the end though.

Actually I was talking about when Morrison chopped Iginla's stick but that is in conjunction with it. It is the referee's discretion on wheather to stop play or not. We all know about the octopus in Detroit. Many, many times it has been thrown on the ice without stoppage of play, however in game 1, play was blown dead. I have a feeling the refs were told to do that after what happened in Calgary, but this was never a set-in-stone rule.
