Or, it can show that it was a minor incident that was blown out of proportion because in Montreal journalists are desperate to get a scoop and they report everything that could stir **** up. And the players laughed it off in practice, and Markov owned the medias. They're not scared of the medias, they just ignore them, but last night wasn't ignorable. It made the headlines almost everywhere. If they didn't do anything about it it would have been interpreted as true.
It worked, judging by Michel Bergeron fuming on l'Antichambre
What was his reaction?

What the hell are you talking about?

I was simply responding to your use of the word "gay."

I remember it was "cool" for kids to say that back in grade 7 or 8, which I'm assuming you're in.

His headline was ''A lack of maturity'' and he spent all his air time *****ing at Price for making fun of the journalists, he basically had a hissy fit about ''everything Price has done the past 2 years'' and he even brought up Komisarek laughing at the journalists too last year.
Poor Bergy, his feelings were deeply hurt.

Bergeron is one of the TV personnalities that's the most out to lunch. It's ok for him to take shots at players based on nothing but personal agenda but if those players try and mock the media's making of big controversies on nothing at all, then Bergeron gets all pissy.

Wow...the sport media is worse than tabloids...making news out of the slightest detail, as if the Habs was some kind of reality show like Loft Story.

All we need is cameras in the locker room!

It's what they all want and they now have Québec-Montréal to statisfy the crazines.

He thinks he is all that, and I am not sure why??? It can't be all he's accomplished....

You laugh and joke around when things are going well, not when the team isn't performing at near 100%...
You are right. What the **** was price thinking he should have had a suit on under his goalie gear. ****ing kid man.

Seriously you think at the end of practice he should have his game face on and storm off the ice? Have you ever played on a sports team? Youd think he chased Markov around for the hug while Martin was drawing up some **** on the board for everyone else.

There's no French/English anything... it's Montreal media couldn't report anything correctly as a collective.

Has anyone seen this article? I think Price has taken this whole "controversy" pretty well and just feels like the French media is pretty much a joke. I also think this whole issue has shown us that Markov is suited to be captain. He had a confrontation with Price, which often happens in NHL teams, then, proceeded to make up with Price, and put the media back in it's place. He handled the situation like an experienced veteran.
