Not a bad period at all.

Also, 4 on 4 might be better for the Sens than a PP.

Karlsson's skating is smooth like butta. What a joy it's been to watch him play during this streak.

Shots were actually even.

Don't think the Habs had too many quality chances though and it suggests that the Sens could stand to take far more shots.

He wears that number because both his parents were born in 1965, I think it's permanent.

Loved Karlsson's movement on the 4 on 4, even if it was a phantom call.

Oh I love this propagandist crap - I love how they cleverly cut out the part where Hawerchuck yanks down the defender from behind leaving Lemieux open on his way to the net.

Karlsson's skill level on the back end is so far ahead of anyone we have on our team, or even in our system. He's going to be very important for us sooner rather than later.

Good to see Kuba starting to get rolling, his creativity the last few games has been better.

What amazed me about Karlsson's play in the first wasn't his offensive game, it was his defensive work. He was solid. He rarely gets beat anymore, and when he does, wow at his recoverability. He also makes such smart decisions: You see the team getting run over a bit, and he stops behind the net and lets the break out calm itself down.

Such smart playing.

Exactly. Even if 65 does have some significance, I thought he still might decide to go with something else he's previously worn.

Well team Sweden like to use lower numbers for the WJC. He was probably told to choose a lower number.
