Lots of games from that era completely stand-up. Outlaws (along with Doom and the first Quake) are absolutely broken. They're unplayable to me.
OK, first of all, Outlaws/Quake vs Doom... That's not even the same ******* era. There's Wolfenstein/Doom and THEN comes all the rest a few years later. Second of all, if they're "broken" to you, that's a personal problem not the fault of the game. It was like the second coming of Christ for me when I found out I could get the original Wolfenstein and Doom on the XBOX live arcade. They're still fun as **** to play and you can thank them for every ******* FPS you've played since.
As for Outlaws, holy crap I loved that game. I remember when I first discovered Nightmare 3d and Outlaws I played them for months.
Aaaaaaaaand as for RDRedemption, man I can't wait. I loved the **** out of 'Gun' and this looks even better. We watched Tombstone a couple weeks ago and it reminded me this was coming out soon. Sucks it's been delayed again. Hopefully it's not jacked and buggy when it comes out...
Still contemplating this game. Looks like it could be a hell of a game and I like the whole Western theme but it still doesn't jump out at me like some games do. Maybe it will be a dark horse purchase for me until I see something that makes me think I need to have it.
