Yeah, dude. I cover the NHL for a living. I watch TONS of Hurricanes games, like for instance the two times they've played the Bruins this season. It's not my fault that casual southern fans like yourself don't understand the nuances of the game.

Ward is just in a bad situation in Carolina. Poor Ward, being placed on waivers because he played like an ECHL pylon for two months. What a slap in the face.

I noticed that Corvo isn't back this weekend as previously discussed. Next week though?

How much have you guys missed him this season? Was the really rough Oct-Dec stretch a result of missing guys like him? What does he represent to the team at this point?

He helps scoring on the PP a lot and he isn't bad defensively. The PP really misses him even though it is looking pretty hot right now.

Samsonov has 7 goals in his last 13 games...but only one assist in that timespan.

Erik Cole sure is setting up shop on IR, isn't he? Closing in on seven weeks for a projected 2-3 week injury? If Pitkanen did that we'd hear "Pitkanen is injury prone TRAED HIM" or "Pitkanen is milking his injury TRADE HIM." But since it's Gritty North American Veteran Cole nobody says a word.
