With our team out of it now we are hoping for your succes, I honestly think you will have great success against detroit because of your work ethic and speed, I am sure you will show Detroits age and slowness.

Anyways I just want to add the sensnation are behind you guys 100%,

Nice thought, but the first period was pretty uptempo. Even the old guys were skating and moving the puck well.

Well, the old guys had some more days off than the Flames. Give them a few more games and their age'll show. 8-)


I'm certainly rooting against all odds for a Calgary/Montreal final!

But as we saw, they couldnt keep it up. Weather the storm, take advantage. Kipper needs to get into their heads. We can do it!

A team can go a long way on hot goaltending. One of the lingering images from last season's playoffs was of Brett Hull shaking his head, in disbelief, over J.S. Giguere. The same could hold true this year.

Despite the rather eye-popping discrepancy in shots, Kipper came out hot. The defensemen did an excellent job at not screening him in Detroit's shooting lanes. If this trend continues, along with the expected return of Chris Simon and Toni Lydman, the Red Wings will have their hands full.
