Dackell is a healthy scratch. I think we already have the defensive players we need. Dakell is good defensively but he isn't quick. Who would you move from them ?

Dowd? No
Bulis? No
Ward? No
Langdon? No
Juneau? No
Begin? No
Dagenais/Perreault? No
Sundstrom? No

Dackell wil be UFA this summer and I would be very surprised if he resigns here.

I don't want him in the line-up, trust me. I was just wondering because if you see the players list they have Q, Ward and Sunny as injured but you don't see Dackell on the list and there is no mention of him coming into the line-up and there is of Sunny.

What must that tell Dackell???

Bye, bye.

EDIT* If Sunny and Ward aren't ready I would consider dressing Dackell over Dagenais though.

Great lineup, I agree. I think that Langdon would be useless against the Lightning and we will need 2 defensive line

Zednik-Koivu-Kovalev
Bulis-Ribeiro-Ryder (vs. Richards)
Juneau-Begin-Dowd (switch off on the draw, match up against Lecav when we don't get the change on the road.)
Sundstrom-Perreault-Ward/Dackell (limited minutes)

We won't need Langdon in this series.

I'd like to see Bulis on the 2nd line to give it some oomph.

you would play the Ribs line vs. St Louis?? I wouldn't do that ever. In fact, I'm pretty sure TBay will try to get that matchup! And if they do, then I like the idea of putting Bulis up there.
I also think that Jason Ward deserves a lot more credit than he's been getting on these boards and think he's a fine young two way player who should be switched with Juneau in your line-up .

I like Ward. He surely have his place on this team. But right now Bulis speed and forecheck is crucial to this team more than Ward hussle...

It could change in the next few years... Ward can be deadly with the puck and he has better offensive skill than Bulis and hit more than him too . It's just a qustion of time / experience before Ward become a better player imo .

While, I'm not a big Dackell fan, I don't think he's been a healthy scratch. He's had knee problems which I think he still has. I think he would have been used against Boston at some point if healthy. With our problems in the last few minutes against them, Dackell would have been useful.

Actually that was my understanding as well. I still think they consider him a health scratch mind you, because I think he COULD play if nessesary.

Truthfully, I think a 100% healthy Dackell could be an asset in our lineup versus Tampa Bay. If speed is going to be a huge factor in this series, Dackell seems like a better choice than some of our other slower forwards (Langdon, Dagenais).
