OT: Phaneuf and Giguere To Toronto

Looks like the deal turned out pretty good for the leafs. Bozak and Kulemin stepped up their game huge aswell as Gunnarsson. Although Phanuef didn't give them points he was a game changer. Sjostrom is are best penelty killer now and Gusstavsson is playing at a much higher level since Gigure came. Stajan played okay in Calgary but 4.25 mill a season is just nuts, and you would think he could post up better numbers on a better team but that didn't happen. And Hagman what happend? Ian White though

can't beleive we lost him, this guy was a gem.

Do you guys have any change of hearts on this deal?

I would wait untill next year before getting to excited.The leafs are known for playing very well the last 20 games of the season.What really could hurt the leafs is they don't have alot of cap space.

I don't get it? You're making the case that the deal was good because OTHER guys that the leafs didn't trade for are stepping up? Sounds more like the leafs gave away a bunch of players for nothing. Just because they've been underperforming since the leafs traded them doesn't make the deal better.
