McLeod actually won a fight! Nice.

B**** move by Voros to land some shots when they're on the ground.

That's a weak call, but the players should be aware of the level the refs have after the first few minutes.

Mercier had a good shift there! I hope he can do well. I like any line where Radar isn't with Tucker....

Avs are trying, but the dark energy of the blue jerseys makes it hard to win.

Except for laying on the ice and looking at both refs while the play is still going on in the offensive zone on that last shift.....

Besides that he has looked really good tonight.

I know someone will make a smartass comment like they usually do about people panicking after every loss but if we lose to the Rangers with Chad Johnson in net, we're in trouble.

The Refs stole the show in the first with a lot of penalities on both side . Lucky for us we got away with a 5 on 3 PK at the start of the game .This could have been a game changing penalities but we got lucky.
I dont Understand why Liles is not playing tonight , he was great the last few games , we had nothing to complain about and yet , tonight he's not playing .

Oh, another note , the best players in the first was Gaborik , he was flying on the ice for the first 20 minutes and got a great goal...

Jerseys are a curse.

Am I the only one who hates the Black Eyed Peas?

True , we have no excuse if we lose to a 5 games NHL exp Goalie.

Well, it could be because of the curse of the uggos....

Anyway, ended up not being able to go, long story short I'm back where I was, having traveled from Boulder to Denver with nothing to show for it. Somebody wanna give me a rundown on how the game has gone in the most drastic, sky is falling fashion?

Exactly.

-Rangers are playing back to back, Avs had a day off.
-The Rangers are without their franchise goaltender and are playing a rookie.
-Avs defensemen are healthy.
-Avs are at home.
-Avs are better than the Rangers.

They didn't look too bad in the first and should win this game but there should be no excuses if its a loss.

Avs PP can look weak at times but the Rangers PP is horrid.
