Toskala to Ducks = good/bad?

At this stage of his career, the change of scenery will only do him good, IMO.
From a 1st goalie (kinda) position in a media-pressured Toronto to a backup-role in sunny California
with Selšnne + Koivu + Nokelainen.
A perfect time for Vesa to get his confidence back.
Cause seriously: lately he's been looking like a scared rabbit in that goalcrease...

I'm sure he will be happy to get out of Toronto and most likely will fill the backup role fine in Anaheim...he is probably gone the summer or gets a low contract if he gets his confidence/game back.

Anaheim is the perfect place for Toskala to be right now. A market where hockey takes a back seat and nobody recognizes him walking down the street.

It's a fresh start for him, and a chance to reclaim his career. If he does well for the rest of the season, I could see Anaheim signing him (obviously for far less that what he is making now).

Just like Finnpin and FiNsKa said, it's a good thing for Vesa getting out of TO. Every player in Toronto during times like these, when the team is underperforming are under a microscope. Every mistake they make will be noted and mentioned about in the media / interviews.

I wish Vesa all the best in Anaheim and hopefully he will regain his confidence and be a trustworthy backup for Hiller.

Good for Toskala (eases the pressure).
Good for Anaheim (got rid of Giggy, no team wants a six-million-dollar backup in their roster).
Good for Toronto (needed a solid starter, got something that at least resembles one).
