30 games is one thing. I'm worried they'll re-sign him this summer.

Don't let these guys get you down. I know I along with most of the rest of us posters appreciate the info. Now, how legit is the Nystrom thing? I know Bob Nystrom personally () and it would be pretty cool to see his son here.

Jokinen is that player.

Jokinen has been a zero at every stop. No thanks.

Hes certainly looking for that.
Where did I pat him on the back? My original response to his first post was that I was unaware this story's roots are at least two weeks old, but, the thread was closed before I got to see it. I was curious as to why, when Dagoon has never shown any evidence of proliferating false rumors.

I come here so I don't have to waste time aimlessly searching the "interwebs" for Ranger info since this community offers more than I could possibly find on my own. So yes, I take umbrage to the fact that some poster's threads might be unfairly censored.

Aside from that, whats the difference from Dagoon getting a few "Thank's for breaking the news" posts just like anyone else? Don't act as if you're ego free and wouldn't appreciate thanks from other posters.

I'd be fine with Jokinen. 3 million of extra cap space in the summer is definitely worth it. And we aren't going anywhere this season anyway.

Why?? who cares he'll be gone in 30 games anyway, it's not important how he comes in here and preforms.

I don't understand the Jokinen hate around here. The same people calling for trading for Mueller are probably the same ones blasting Jokinen. Folks, its the same type of situation; the only difference between Mueller and Jokinen is age.

Look, we'd be buying low on Olli since he's been slumping this season. The guy has proven that he can play and produce at the NHL level. He's averaged a point per game over the past 3 or 4 seasons. If worse comes to worse, Olli is a UFA, we don't have to bring him back.

We could turn around and trade Jokinen's expiring contract to playoff contender at the deadline.

If we are trading Kotalik for Jokinen what makes you think that someone will take him at the deadline becuase I'm sure if Calgary wanted to they could get more than Kotalik.

Jokinen makes 5.2 mil. Kotalik 3. That puts us over the cap. That means someone else would be moving, no?

You must love turnovers. I'm not interested in trading for either of them. How's that?

Well done Dagoon. Great scoop.

LOL.
Explain his knowledge of the Andrew Peters 2 year deal & the Jeff Cowan to Buffalo almost a week before confirmed. Were those just pot luck guesses too?

A lot of people come on the internet & pretend to have sources and 95% of the time are wrong. Dagoon has a history of being right, time for people to get off his ass. His history of predictions speaks for themself IMO

I'm just worried about Sather giving him some sort of 4-5 year deal with a 6 million dollar cap hit. Jokinen is such a typical Glen Sather type of acquisition; someone who is good in flashes but can't bring it all together consistently.

Even if it was Kotalik and Higgins for example we still can't turn around and trade Jokinen at the deadline because that's a weak return if you're Calgary.

Sheldon is on the record that he'll be staying in the Western Conference. His family is in LA and his NTC is set up to keep him within a short flight of them.
