Should be enough of a reason for any fanbase.

Frankly I avoid articles like the one Dale posted for the most part. They're getting what they want. Controversy, readers, and possibly exposure from the real media. That's what they all want when they have nothing real to add to the conversation. After spending a few weeks in Regina I can say that they in no way represent the majority opinion of Canadians, especially in regards to this market. The majority like the way our area has embraced the sport and ******* quotient seems to be specifically on the net and boards like this in places like the Business of Hockey section.

I got this thread to page 2 before faceoff. The challenge is on for whoever makes the next GDT.

So Corvo is ready to be back, however, there's a snag. Since Carson was called up as an emergency, he's got to be sent back down, which would then place him on waivers. So Corvo has not been activated from IR, even though, he can play.

I think that's what I understood from Forslund.

Seems like anytime they head West the picture quality takes a major step back. I remember a game against Minnesota last year where it looked like the ice went nova once the game started, you couldn't even tell where the blue-line was.

I wonder how long they have to wait to activate Corvo for Carson to not have to be put back through waivers.

And two penalties already in the game. I get the feeling we'll be seeing a lot of this tonight.

Who needs Babchuk when we have Alberts

Poor effort by the rookie goalie, you gotta move your body into the puck, can't rely on your blocker 100%.

Andrew Alberts is great in the #5 spot... I really think our 5-6 of Carson-Alberts for next year is very strong

Agreed. Of Rutherford's acquisitions and re-acquisitions in the last calender year, I would say that Alberts and Kostopoulos are the two that have brought to the table exactly what was expected out of them.

Shades of the old Cam Ward there, weak goal.

Yelle has been pretty decent as well, if not unspectacular. That said, notice how it's the guys from outside the "country club" that have been effective this season after being brought in.

Glad Oil scored... i am sick and tired of our winning ways and Cam Ward trying to prove heck knows what this past few games.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with Yelle at first, but his play really turned around after he went through waivers.

I'm just worried that if we lose too many games in a row, Eric Staal will return to his lazy, uninspired, selfish, moody, and cry-baby ways. Atleast, that's what the official Hurricanes' message board said.
