Since tonight is a 4 point game (for 30th), I wouldn't mind losing and then going into Calgary and letting baby Sutter beat his daddy

Jesus christ A. Ward is a guarantee for a -1 per game.

Edit: It's k, he was pointing, not his fault.

So, is Legace ever going to start again? This was a perfect game for him to start

Be funny if he got fired after that, too

Looks like the Oilers may put any delusions about this season out of everyone's heads.

Rutherford must've snuck into the locker room pre-game and put a bunch of Tyler Seguin posters on the wall.

Some of us just left after we discovered an alternative.

And who's idea was it to stick this at 9:30? I was thinking it was 10 and missed half the first.

And Brule?

Piss-poor defensive effort by Pits there. Ward actually had the right play and Pitkanen was the defensive liability.

They only cheer for bad penalties and bad goals against.

An Aaron Ward point is the equivalent of a Chara body-check, it just took an inhuman effort by the Oiler forward to make the play.

A. Ward did NOTHING on that Brule goal. He backed up and conceded the zone.

He sucks.

I knew the "good" Hurricanes wouldn't stick around for long. What a lousy effort so far

Gritty Veteran AWard standing there like a pylon. He didn't even try to take away the passing lane. Can't we send him to Boston like NOW. They can have him for free.

Nope, but I learned pretty quickly that if you don't fall in line with the "every decision by Rutherford is the RIGHT decision" thought process, you're prone to be reprimanded.

I'll give away a Chad LaRose bobblehead if someone can find a defensive pairing that points more than Pits and Ward.

To Canes Board

re: game

From Oiler Board

Go Canes Go

We would rather lose this game then win it. Oiler fans are now into getting a top pick and some of us have nightmares of the oilers winning a few games and suddenly find ourselves drafting at like 4th overall and out of the top 3--not what we want. We would rather lose this game and win against a team 20 pts above us then beat a team 1 spot below us. That is the kind of year the oilers are having. We are all into the "fall for hall" or "don't win for Seguin"

Hope that helps
