Seperate them and they are good-great players... But together as a duo, they are the best in the world.

Marleau-Thornton-Heatley is a good line. We can all agree Burrows is no where near as good (talent wise) as Marleau, yet look at the numbers he puts up..

Playing with the Sedin bro's is like winning the NHL 6/49.

I have been impressed with the way the Habs deliver games. All 82 games for only 2.99 a month is an awesome deal! Since the Habs are usually out by the end of April, that means 7 months of hockey for only 20.93 + taxes. The Canucks have like 12 to 15 games a year on PPV. Just another cash cow in my books.

At least one has played at elite level without another in the past. I think 20 games is enough to assess that.

I thought about this today.

Tonight we will see the Sedins show. Ive watched plenty of Vancouver games lately and believe me, they do put on a show everytime they are on the ice. Tape to tape pass, without even looking. They are something!

It makes me wonder if one day, the Kostitsyn will get a chance to play together on a same line for a long period to build a chemistry (even though they seem to already have good chemistry together). With Cammalleri out for 6 weeks, Andrei will return before him. That could be the opportunity to see the brothers reunite with Plekanec. They were good together before when put together.

The Sedin was good before, but this year, they took it to another level. They play with confidence, knowing they are the key of Vancouver's offense. I think both of the Kostitsyn have all the tools to be successful in the nhl. What they need is consistency. Imagine the day we leave them alone and let them express on the ice, together. Maybe they will not be as dominant as the Sedins, but having both brothers in a team is a blessing. I hope the Habs will not make the mistake to trade one of them.

Imagine this: When Cammer comes back, he will be back with Plekanec. Gomez and Gionta together with Pouliot and the Kostitsyns on a third line with Lapierre. Could Lapierre be the next Alex Burrows? Who knows?? Add a big winger to play with Plek and Cammer and we could have a good team!

Wow this is a long post in a GDT.

That decision was in part done by Vancouver (just like Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa) to help boost the bottom line. All teams that have come close to bankrupty. We'll never have that issue (just like Toronto wont either) so it should never happen.

I feel bad for Plekanec. Even though that he has Pouliot now but both of his wingers with whom he had so much success are gone for several weeks.

I feel bad for Gomez. When his wingers were hurt Martin kept shoveling **** onto his line.

I come in peace as I hope you guys do well. Just curious if you guys hate Alex Burrows like most of the league or are you guys proud of a local boy being a major contributor this year (aside from tonight)

Well if our scouting was any good, he'd be a Hab. He was never drafted afaik.

I hated him in the previous season. I used to call him Air Burrows.

This season has been different. He doesnt do the cheap things anymore (at least less often) and concentrating on scoring goals more.

Id LOVE to see him in the Habs jersey though.

He was playing in the ECHL when Vancouver signed him, he was a really late bloomer.
