The Flyers Board Olympic Hockey Thread

Figured this will be starting soon enough, let's get a thread going.

Ryan Miller's mask, found on the Rangers board:

I think that mask is horrawful. Way to busy. Especially when you see the other side.

Anyone catch this thread; http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=732989 ?

Does this mean Yzerman felt Richards/Carter was a toss-up and Cannon is gonna be the 13th forward?

Hmm... so Ryan Miller has a thing for Khan?

(actually, the mask is pretty cool, but you just can't let some things slide....)

Of course. I almost did a "USA Olympic" thread but figured it would segregate the board with separate USA/Canada threads. And you know me, Opus, I'm all about togetherness.

Does anyone know if Malkin and Ovechkin will be on the same line?

Honestly, I just pray that Canada and Russia play each other at some point, potential for an epic, epic game there.

If USA fails I'm going with Canada.

It is their game in the end.

In an event, my order of cheering:

1. USA (obvious)
2. Germany
3. Canada

I'm so with you on that one.

Plus if USA gets knocked out I'd like to see Richie and Prongs get a gold medal.

After 2006, that's quite possible. Hopefully Team Canada has figured out the problems they had then - 6th place will have a whole lot of Canadians looking for bridges and overpasses.

Go Canada! It's going to be weird cheering for Crosby and against Kimo, Niitty and Kukkonen but I hope Canada wins Gold and Finland Silver.

I'm really hoping for a repeat. But I feel that our chances are very slim this time around

Go Tre kronor!
