Around 30?

Moen is 27, Bergeron is 29. But neither of them look like they're 40..

Facial traits. Heavy drinking shows up after a while as blood vessels start to burst from the accelerated blood pressure.

Personally I think Tony is angry at something else and is looking at lashing the easiest target he can find.

Really the Habs could clean up this mess if they had their lawyers throw slander/libel charges out once and a while.

If they clearly said Gomez is an alcoholic, which is sounds like, and he isn't... Fire lawyers at them. Maybe people would think twice before stirring ****.

Normally I'd be horrified by this possibility, but with the issue of our secondary scoring, I could live with this sort of lineup when fully healthy...

Cammalleri - Plekanec - A.Kostitsyn
Pouliot - Gomez - Gionta
S.Kostitsyn - Metropolit - Whitney
Darche/Bergeron - Lapierre - Moen

A third line that could put up some points?

All that Eklund stuff aside…

With Cammalleri out 6 weeks (4 weeks in terms of NHL schedule), Whitney would be a very solid rental imo. I still hope for a big and gritty 3rd liner (especially if O'Byrne keeps providing us with solid hockey) but if Gainey acquires Whitney, I would be a happy fan.

All the Eklund stuff aside in the Eklund thread

D'Agostini for Whitney sounds fair to me, but might not to Canes' fans. D'Ago has been a big ZERO this season. You'd be happy to get a 6th pick for him, honest.
