With the Oilers being as bad as they are and building for the future why would they trade a young player with potential in Brule? It just doesn't make sense to me but I'm not a GM so what do I know....

To be fair to Eklund, I don't think that shot was at Eklund. Look at his feed, he retweeted Allen who made the scoop several times and specifically posted "this is why I told people to follow Allen" at one point.
Eklund wasn't the one claiming it as his own, he was pretty up front.

I fail to see the logic. Price has more value than Brule, we got Pouliot who was drafted before both the same year without dealing Price anyways
I think Brule replaces and upgrades over Metropolit long term.
