Remember When...

To put a little positive spin onto things what are your top memories of the whole entire season, this can include any off-season signings or draft picks as well.

Remember when Rolston scored the game winner against Vancouver and then the Murphys played a great concert at the fleet.

I didn't watch that game, I hate Rolston, and I hate the Dropkick Murphy's.......

Sorry, I'm in a pessimistic mood.

My favorite was definitely the Wings, we were in a bit of a slump at the time and swept the home and home, that was a great game, Raycroft played awesome and Joe had the game winner.

I think we also should remember our amazing comebacks this year..somthing I hadn't seen during the last many seasons:

Comebacks from 0 - 3 deficits against : LA and Tampa to with the games, NJ to tie a game

10000000 comebacks from 0-2 and 1-3 (even in the playoffs )....

GO B's GO!!! Can't wait for the next season.

Watching the kids at training camp... noting the standouts among them (Bergeron, Toivonen) and how if the kids can translate the effort they were showing at camp into the same sort of effort on the ice when they get here (Boston OR Providence), the future looks very bright indeed (IMO).

Seeing Andrew Raycroft steal a couple games for the B's this season... something that a Bruins' goalie hasn't done in quite awhile... seeing Felix Potvin accepting his role as back-up goaltender, even though he wasn't happy about it, and mentoring Andrew and being an overall good team guy.

Going 2-0 against Detroit and then going 2-0 against Vancouver.

The resiliency of the team when they were on their western road swing... being down a couple/three goals, and coming back to win those games... overall, taking the west by storm!

Seeing the boys pull out of their December swoon to play some pretty solid hockey for the next three months.

After a rough start, seeing Nick Boynton get his groove back and finish off the season very solidly.

Best story of the season, though, IMO... seeing the piece that KPD/NESN did on Jonathan Girard, and seeing Jonathan skating again after everything he went through.

I agree...it was great to see Girard skate and start thinking again about his NHL career instead of worrying about his health/life. Hope to see you again this year Jon

Doug Doull was a great story too. A career minor leaguer finally getting his shot at the big time, taking full advantage of it and knowing his role with the team. Congrats Doug!

Mike Knuble's OT goal against Buffalo with 3.9 seconds remaining. A great feed from Nylander on a 2-on-1(with Jeff Jillson the victim), right after Dan McGillis broke up a Sabres 2-on-1. Something about those Saturday matinees.
