Didn't really miss much. They just pointed out the winning streak and Kopitar's scoring streak. They have been talking up a storm on the Kings for a while now, so there is not much else to say. They mainly focused on Jokinen and Prusts' start.

I know you mean down the line but as great as Bernier is doing right now, it really means nothing until he does something in the NHL. Goalies, especially unproven ones, don't fetch that kind of trade.

What’s the best way to follow a perfect five game road trip and a six game win streak?

A perfect home stand and a seven game streak.

The Kings are off to a good start.

Jumping on the wagon has a two drink minimum...one of them for me.

Hearing that this was the first seven game winning streak since the Gretzky days filled me with nostalgia and gave me chills. What a time to be a Kings' fan. This is really happening, guys.

Yeah it's happening...get used to playoff races for awhile.

Also some interesting tidbits no one has mentioned yet...

Kings just matched last years win total, and we are still in the first week of February. Kings also just matched the 2007-08 Kings team in total points. Kings are trending up in the standings.

They didn't say much about the Kings tonight.

There's a rumor that three more short buses were chartered in Anaheim for the next invasion of Staples...

I already detailed it on Hammond's blog. When DL was in San Jose, they had 2 #1 goalies for like 9 years straight. First Nabokov/Kiprusoff and then Nabokov/Toskala. If you don't think DL is willing to do Bernier/Quick for 4-5 years, you haven't been paying attention.
