McLaren

We got what seems like a great prospect for him now, Boyes, but man, watching him out there with the Sharks, I do miss having him.

He's a big, mobile bruiser and he is decent with the puck. Too bad things didn't work out.

Why is he wearing a shield though? Has he been injured recently?

Ya, it looked like a replay of the Roenick incident...though I believe the puck hit McLaren in the high-cheeck area.

Man-o-man, I miss McLaren. I have from day one. He would have been squishing Habs like Al -the planet- Iafrate. The Sharks D looks good.

McLaren-Boynton

would be a feared, mobile hitting unit that can also move the puck.

Maybe Boyes will justify it all...who knows....

Thanks to both of you, and I'm with you Colt. Always one of my favorites when he was here too. A bit of a headache perhaps, but loved what he did on the ice.

I'm just glad he's out west, and I hope he never ends up back facing the B's 4-5 times a season.

the only thing i didn't like about kyle was all the injuries. a guy who plays like that will always be banged up. good luck to him, except against us.

I agree 100%. He is a bruiser, however he was always hurt. He cant intimidate the opponent all that much from the IR

Agreed....without the injuries I would take this guy on my team 100% of the time. He has a lot more of what this team needed this year; heart. Compare him to OD, McGillis, and Gill and see what this team really could have used. I'd take kyle over all of them by a VERY large margin.

But with the injuries we just ended up replacing him 40 games a year with someone else.
