Ninety minutes before Wednesday's game, general manager Paul Holmgren refuted a CSN report that Emery had a groin injury.
Asked if Emery was injured, Holmgren said, "Absolutely not. He's fine."

I really hope they're not hiding something here. I know the Olympic break is coming up, but any kind of reoccurring nagging little injuries need to be taken care of before they get too big.

From how he looks in goal <stiff> it makes perfect sense.

Probably means his groin is being held together on by masking tape and chewing gum

You can pretty much bet that if this is serious Halak will be a Flyer

Players get over injuries. If it keeps them cheap I'm game.
I'd like to get Halak, but I'm not interested in giving up an arm and a leg.
By the way. I assume Emery isn't necessarily hurt. I think he's still recovering a bit, and Timmy P. might be overreacting a bit. He has looked stiff and is fighting off the puck at times. Even so, he hasn't been terrible. I think it's a slow process, and he deserves a little rest every now and then.
Think about it, he's been in almost non-stop since his return.

If it is something serious, I'm confident that's the direction we head in next.

No bueno. I cursed when I read this, hopefully Leighton can pick up where he left off...I wanted Giggy from the get go back in August, but now I don't want to see them do anything crazy and take a big cap hit.

No, and not expected to be in uniform as a backup.
