The Rangers don't want to win this game.

Playing undisciplined hockey against the team with the best PP will almost guarantee a loss.

The thing that could hurt the Caps is the same thing that could hurt the Hawks - goaltending.

Well, at least the Rangers don't blow leads like this very often. Of course that might be because the Rangers don't HAVE leads like this very often.

Don't forget all the quality saves Henrik has made.

If Hank's not in net I think the score is much higher in favor of Washington. Some weak plays, and some plays where he's stood on his head to keep this a 1 goal game.

Varlamov will be back from injury soon. I'll be rooting for them in the playoffs for sure (assuming we don't get there).

Please stay out of the box....

9 PP's later.......
5 of those were very questionable calls IMHO.

Their defense looks shoddy also. Sam said in the beginning that they're used to facing a ton of shots in the first period or something like that. They might be on a winning streak, but when the games start taking on more meaning I have a feeling they will get exposed again.

He's had one bad one, but hes had some great saves as well which, in a 6-5 game, is scary.

Rangers are being totally outclassed. Only a one-in-a-million outburst from our offense makes this an interesting game
caps are a great team but this game has been very even.

rangers have had loads of chances.

theodore has been just a little better than henrik tonight.

I guess his offense must outweigh his terrible defense, i enjoyed watching him just stand next to callahan on that deflection, he is twice as big as cally and he still just leans on him rather than push him around, poti is still a bum, but its not as noticeable on the caps

There was a time when if the puck was in the crease and in the vicinity of another player that you could take the body. Girardi didn't use his stick, he didn't hit him from behind, he pushed him and Ovechkin fell down and stared the ref into a call. The whistle hadn't blown yet, it wasn't late. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Actually, they like Poti in Washington. It doesn't seem like he is hurting their play all that much.
And damn, he always shows up against the Rangers.

Why does the idiot in charge of music at MSG play "shipping up to boston" at a game in NYC

I love the dropkicks. They have a million songs that dont reference our city's most hated rival.

LOL then he plays Sinatra. This organization fails at so many levels.

Don't make a bigger fool of yourself. You wanna complain about the officiating? I wanna complain about my fellow fans not being able to admit a blatant penalty just because it went against US. Deal with it, it's a forum.

I think this easily could've ended with double digits against. Easily. That's what happens when you buy a discount to the penalty box and ignore the body and player on every defensive play, except for when the refs makes the call on you.

He's got some skills.

His problem (amongst other things) is his pulse.

But when you play on a team as good as Washington, it's easier to blend in.

Some guys make teams good. Some guys are made good by a team.
