Seriously though, is Bouchard going to be able to play? He has concussion issues that have kept him out all year right? Is he practicing at all?

Nope. Can't even work out or anything yet.

Apparently he just got back to Minnesota today. Who knows how far away he could be from playing, if at all. Ever.

I don't really want to lose Stefanovich and Mikus, plus our blue line is pretty crowded right now.

the value is reasonable if not overpayment for the leafs but i think it would make sense to trade arguable our best chip for another defenseman and a 4th line grinder. we need a forward with top line talent in the worst possible way.

imo leafs turn this down.

Clutterbuck and Burns are about the most popular guys on the team along with Koivu. No way the Wild moves them. Burns is going to be important when the Wild lose Zidlicky and Johnsson to free agency.

Kaberle is not getting traded. That is straight from Burke's mouth

Leafs Overpay huge..
Take out the 2 prospects and then we can talk...
NTM, we could get a better package for Kaberle from a top team...Minny dsn't really fit the bill...(although I like him in the west)

Burke actually said, he wouldn't ask him to waive his no trade clause.
Thats different then saying he wont trade him.
The NTC is null and void in the summer.
Kabby is traded before next season, not because we don't want him, but because he can get us an elite forward.

What would it take for just Burns?

Clutterbuck is a fan favorite and I just don't see him being moved.

Burns is just as popular, has a great contract, and has all the tools to be a #1 guy on the blueline. I don't see any reason to trade him.

if you can land burns I would do that, but I wouldnt give up all that, especially when burns is struggling.

Too much from the Wild's end. I'm digging the team, they have a lot of heart. They do need to get deeper than they already are though.
