I check up on there once in a while but there just isn't much discussion going on that's worth anyone's time. Some users see the way Mursak and Nyquist are doing and they're like, "Put him in a Wings uniform now!!!"

I'll be interested to see where Almqvist lands in these polls. Seems a lot of people have him ranked pretty high. I'd probably put him at 15-20 myself.
Later round picks are intriguing to me from a value standpoint. You don't eat coal expecting to crap out diamonds. That's why I'm high on Almquist. Cause when they pan out it means you got a lot higher value than what you expect and that's always good for the franchise overall.

4. I would have picked Kindl. But he's off the board. So I'll go with Gustav Nyquist. That guy is Valtteri Filppula 2.0. Hopefully with a little more snipe action to his game.

I think he is sort of overrated by some. He deserves alot of credit for what he is doing right now in the SEL but he still has proven little and doesn't deserve to be higher than 15/20ish area until he has proven more. Plenty of players like Ryno and Samuelsson have had decent rookie SEL seasons to go nowhere but down. Almqvist shouldn't be ranked higher than Pyett, Kolosov, Nicastro, and even Fournier. At least that is my opinion on the matter.

Honestly, I haven't seen anyone call for Nyquist to go to Detroit, but several RWC posters have pined for Mursak to be put on the Wings roster. And a couple have mentioned that Tatar should get a call-up.
