I hate it. It's the same **** all over again. We can't buy a ****ing goal and we're done in by screw-ups and lucky bounces.

He's been forcing passes pretty much the entire year...trying to do all kinds of fancy crap, rather than just making the easy play. He's still producing, but I honestly think he'd have 10 more points at this point if he'd just put the puck on net in some instances.

EDIT: It has been particularly bad since Gagne's been back and struggling...seems like it's Richards' mission in life to get him going.

I'd like to see Giroux shoot more as well.

It is simply amazing how unlucky we've been, I thought it might have been over, but the last 2 games, it's been back with a vengeance.

And the real Michael Leighton has stood up starting with the goal in the Oilers game.

That's a joke.....Letting 1 goal in a game is all we can ask for from a back up.....

Feh, if a goalie isn't getting help from a team in front of him he'll either lose his confidence or win it on his own. But there are probably only a handful of goalies in the second category. Leighton is still a fine back up when the offense isn't stuck in the mud.

When a team is not getting the bounces like what is happening right now (they were all over Minnesota), they need their goalie to make the easy saves and not make mistakes. Both of those goals were his fault and his fault only

All we're asking Leighton is to not turn the puck over behind our net and to not give up rebounds on pucks that slowly slide into him.

In this game, that's apparently been impossible, so we're down 2-1.

EDIT: I should that that we've been creating chances like a mother****er and nothing will go in, it'd be very nice if Gagne and Hartnell could actually pot a goal instead of fanning constantly at every puck that comes their way.

It'd also be nice if we got Powe out of the goddamned top-6 which has been nothing but a total failure and put Giroux back there where he belongs.

I would have no problem with him if he got beat with a good shot, but every goal on him just seems to be awful

The goal against the Oilers was bad and both of the goals so far this game are completely his fault. I can't believe people are trying to defend him.

Yeah, he's good at being big and making the first save... from there it's downhill.

I really wish we could have a goalie that was just "mediocre" at moving the puck. Biron/Nitty...Emery, Leighton, and Boucher...all friggin adventures.

It's our top six that can't get it done. It's like a complete 360 from last year. I'll be surprised if Carter gets 30 goals this year. None of our forwards are on a pace for PPG. Richards is a shadow of what he was last year. Gagne can't score a goal if it's handed to him. Briere has been okay, but that cap hit is brutal. Hartnell is horrible at everything besides parking his ass in front of the goalie.

Our bottom six is perfectly fine. Whoever we put on the top six can't seem to help it either.

Coatsy references last years stats. Facepalm!

So many dusty players have way more points/goals than our Stars
